Happy Friday!

(Below are some pictures from the 7C poster making process)

After a VERY successful first week I want to say I am thoroughly impressed by your dedication and rigor in the classroom!

Today we finished our Michael Jackson activities and had some great thinkers and questioners in the 6th grade class! We were all discussing the differences between
quantitative and qualitative data and even Ms. Dickie and I were unsure on some of them!

6C Homework: Finish the persuasive paragraph on the back of your chart. It MUST have at least two pieces of quantitative and TWO pieces of qualitative evidence to support your claim.

7C you did a wonderful job making posters to support your presentations for Monday. We had some very unique ideas!

Expectations for Monday for BOTH classes:
1. Binder for classes
2. We will present your artist
3. We will take a 'WHAT DO YOU KNOW' mini assessment to see what you processed this week
4. WE WILL FINALLY ORGANIZE ourselves, I'll be taking applications for class roles and you will get your spiral notebook where we will keep vocabulary and notes.

**Asa, our Sparks will go on a Spark of the Week sheet that you will keep in your binder**

Today Ylaysia gave an All Star Pickle Jar to Coty, but she left early so I just want to give her a shout out!

**Zoe, I changed the settings, can you comment now?
