Quantitative: is data or research that is based on numerical and statistical analysis. Having to do with empirical data (numbers driven)
Qualitative: is data or research based on attitude behavior and/or experiences.
You did an excellent job differentiating between the two and we had some great questions. A few things we noticed:
1. Qualitative data usually supports or negates quantitative data. It may not always necessarily be true and can sometimes be opinion based.
2. We can turn a qualitative statement into a quantitative statement by conducting research and presenting data based on research, and data analysis.

Agenda:
1. We finished the lab from yesterday
2. Discussed with teams how graphs can represent data
3. Determined some key elements of graphs (x and y axis, title, titles of axis, scale, type of graph)
4. still some left for tomorrow
We also made a divider to separate humanities and MST in 7th grade and we will do that tomorrow in 6th grade.
REMINDER! 1.5" binder by Friday!
Ciao!
